GLAAS INC The primary aim of this Victorian-based organisation is to promote glass in art and architecture throughout Australia, and it's doing just that, admirably well.
GAS The Glass Art Society of America, with a similarly inclusive membership to Ausglass, hosts an annual conference.
NZSAG The New Zealand Society of Glass Artists- as the name suggests. In 2019 Ausglass went to New Zealand for the joint ColabConference.
These are just some of the splendid associations focusing on the glass arts that might pique your interest.
SGAA, the Stained Glass Association of America, also hosts an annual conference. In 2026 they will be joining forces with GAS, presenting a combined Conference at the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning USA. I'm proud to announce that I have been invited to address the Conference, presenting a one-hour slide lecture featuring a few of my recent stained glass commissions and showing outstanding contemporary stained glass from around Australia.
Titled Celebrating Community/Expanding Futures, Conference registrations are now open
